The hip-hop
music genre has become increasingly popular. Since the late 1970s, when the
culture and music was taking form, there was something unique about the beats
and the rhymes, as well as the dances, fashion and graffiti.
The
hip hop genre has revolutionised today’s society and culture because of how it
has changed the world by being so original and unconventional. There are many
reasons as to why I enjoy hip-hop music as it’s currently one of the most
popular music genres out there. One of the reasons as to why I enjoy the hip pop
music genre would be due to the fact that they contain amazing and fascinating lyrics
and rhymes. Part of what makes hip hop lyrics so appealing is the slang that
are used by the artists to paint their picture. Artists such as Drake, Nicki
Minaj, Jay Z and Desiigner have created a language in which many people in our society
use. Furthermore the hip hop genre has inspired some of the most popular popular dances such as the dab and others.
